Captain Matthew Flinders Ceremony

On 28th April 2012 on the foreshore opposite the Dromana Old Shire Offices, The Hon. Greg Hunt M.P., on behalf of the Dromana Foreshore Committee of Management unveiled a plaque to commemorate the landing of Captain Matthew Flinders, together with William Westall and Robert Brown at a nearby point on the 27th April 1802.
